Is there a free software out there for a mac book o.s system?
which will resize photos to download on nikonites?

I'm sure there are plenty... Picasa for Mac is just one suggestion.

The Nikon software ViewNX 2 has a version for Mac's as well.

I don't think I understand what you're asking...

You have ViewNX 2 installed on your Macbook but you can't find the application?

No i don't know where to find the resize in viewnx2

Click on "Convert Files"
Click "ON" the little box for "Change the image size."
Enter the new dimensions you want your picture to be.
Export the file.

No prob... ViewNX is not the most user-friendly image editor out there in my opinion.

You can also simply open the image in 'Preview'
Goto Tools - Adjust size
choose the size you want & save it.
