Public transport is almost nonexistent on such a route so you must drive...distances are small but they take much longer to do than you think...no-one riushes or keeps timetables in the west...like slightly wetter Jamaicans....I suppose it all depends on what you want to get out of the holiday.....is it scenery or do you want to do the culture thing? Will you want to go to the north(The bit that belongs to the UK)?</blockquote>
