When I rotate my camera from landscape to portrait position the screen goes blank, if I tap on the battery grip, the screen comes back  on... I assume it must be some kind of loose connection in the terminals, as when I removed the battery grip I didn't have any other issues... I've only ever used genuine nikon EN-EL14 batteries in it, so it must be the battery pack, which was a relatively cheap one off eBay.
