I have a small Youtube channel that is basically slideshows with royalty free music using my macro and wildlife images. I started it to be able to post a slideshow here on a slideshow thread, and kept at it so that friends and family could follow my photography, and occasionally add new content. I got to looking at the analytics today and discovered something interesting. Over the last 28 days, 100% of my audience has been female aged 25-34. Geography stats are 26% were from Switzerland and 3.5% from the US. I assume they are only reporting specifics from those watching that have Youtube accounts, which would mean more than 2/3 rds of them had no data to draw from. Although I suppose that geography could be gleaned from IP addresses. Although if that were the case, I would expect the percentage to be higher, with apparent VPNs being unknown. I also know that the first statistic is erroneous as I have a recent comment from someone I know, and he is not 25-34 years old. I did find the "what viewers are looking for" to be interesting, and may suggest titles and descriptions that may attract more viewers, assuming I am actually interested in more viewers.
