Lens: Nikon 55-200 1:4-5.6g

i went out with my girl a few weeks back to the como zoo and conservatory, this in one of the photos of the flowers that they had in there green houses i tried to capture the flower in a way to make it look and feel soft and isolated from the textured background. i amish to taking photos and some feedback would be awesome!!!

Hi Montana. The framing is nice but looking closely at the picture, the picture has a lot of noise. Pushing the D40 at ISO 1600 is too much for that camera. I would suggest using a tripod next time or use a fill flash to lower down the ISO. You get better Dynamic Range at lower ISO level (ISO 100). Thanks for sharing your work.
