I have headed out with my camera to shoot whatever is around the next corner and found that can blow the cobwebs away, but so can returning to the scene of the crime and going back to whatever started you in the first place. For me it is gig photography, although I have done press work, landscapes, wildlife, proms and a host of other things a bit of live music, head in the PA system stage front trying to catch that moment of performance that sums up the band, gig or atmosphere always gets my blood pumping. Good luck, and I hope you break the slump soon.
