Bigger pixels on the 7500 equate to better iq than then 500 (minor loss of resolution - lenses anyone?) so iq will likely come in stronger than 7200. One card slot - snapbridge backup to phone or laptop I say. So you 7200 users are saying it is the same camera as the 7200? We shall see! I would also like to mention the AF system. Supposedly the same as 7200 yet the 7500 does a few things the 7200 doesn't in that department so until we see the manual I think that one is still on the fence. RAW buffer capacity way better. It is a 500 in sheep's clothing and as such I am certain it will flat out outgun the 7200. It is not as crippled as some would have you believe. But I have no longer have any horses in the DX race so I will check back late this summer when a few folks have had the 7500 in hand and have done real world comparisons vs 7200 and vs 500. I know one thing for certain. Amateur birders are going to go with the new camera because it will be faster. One other point. It is the 'new' entry level that is why they skipped 73 and 74. Remember Nikon is restructuring its product line. They will be releasing a bunch of no mirror units late this year and the pro level stuff will differentiate itself from entry level in a big way. This time next year everyone is going to be up in arms because of the no mirror cameras. So much hate for a camera not even on the market yet. What a shame.
