Im really liking my D7100

This is such an awesome camera. It is 10X better than my last camera a Canon 40D. The image and color quality is far superior and I really like the in-camera HDR feature. I thought I would have a little more difficulty learning the Nikon system but so far- I am learning and doing more that I ever have compared to my older cameras (which I hav e since sold off). The D7100 is a keeper.

I agree! I got mine on Christmas and have been shooting stunning pictures! I also got Mastering the D7100 and have been reading that.

The 40D is very capable camera but I'm not even sure it's a fair fight comparing it to the D7100.

i love my D7100. It takes a while to learn all that it can do. I not sure I ever did reach the maximum that the camera could do

I to this day still believe the D7100 is the best bang for buck camera going. The D7200 is a little more icing, but the D7100 took it to a new level.

There was a big jump between the D7000 and the D7100. I have one of each and it was worth the upgrade. I have played with a friend's D7200 and it has a couple of nice features like the WiFi but besides that not a lot of differences.
