I have mentioned the "club" my daughter and I joined last year, the Carolina Nature Photographer's Association. They have a baker's dozen local chapters throughout the Carolinas. Believe me when I say there is a ton of talent among these folks in the nature photography genre. Anyway, they have a yearly contest called, Member's Choice. The members vote on the winning images. I entered a small handful of images this year, and the winners were announced this week.
I was thrilled to take a second place, and third place award in the Small Stuff (macro) category. For info, this was in the Tier 2 section, being non professional, no previous major wins division. Looking at the winners, I am blown away by some of the photographs that won.
