When I was in photo finishing we had a film leader extractor that made it so easy to get the leader out so that we could attach a card and feed it info the film processor. We had a new guy once that even though we had gone over it with him a number of times before we actually let him do it he decided that it would be easier to put on the card if he pulled more of the film out. He exposed about 8 or 10 of the first shots on the roll.
