Happy Thanksgiving all! I went out to shoot a sunrise at the beach this morning, got some great 8 second images. I get back to process them and realize that the SD card was still in the computer, all the images were on the XQD. Crap! My computer, even with the Sony driver installed, does not even recognize there are files on the .xqd card. I went fumbling through all of the seemingly thousands of menu items until I found a "copy" item. Apparently it is possible to transfer files from the .xqd card to the SD card in the camera. I have never needed any such function on the D7100 because the cards there are both SD and have no problem reading them. Whew! XQD cards are a major step up from SD but if you can't read them they are about as useful as teats on a bull.
