Hello Dear Friends, I'm Dr Shakeel Ahmad Shah, I teach Chemistry at NIT Srinagar,J&K, India, But I remain always involved in Learning process based on observations, experiences and of course mistakes. Yes,trying not to repeat mistakes. I'm actually from a country side part of this place, had lived my childhood in a free and natural habitat where I've been always connected to nature in close relation, like surrounded by green meadows, singing brooks, chirping birds, cold & warm breezes, open sun & blessing rains, snow covered mountains, under the shadows of apple, pear, apricot, peach, cherry trees & blossoms and even worked in paddy fields at various crop stages, what not I mean. My father gave me the first photography tool Agfa Camera when I was only 8 years in 1973/74 and started to capture the B&Ws of whatever I wanted, to freeze the moment. Latter on played with other cameras, some time borrowed ones, some Sonys, kodaks which were made non functional by my children. Very recently, I owned a Nikon D5100 with kit lenses and 55-200mm in combo offer. Hope to be at this forum for learning more about the craft and you guys will also see my takes. With regards and best wishes, Dr S A SHAH Department of Chemistry, NIT Srinagar-6
