[QUOTE="rocketman122, post: 246556, member: 14443"] Due to the amount of pictures I shoot in a wedding, its not logical to shoot raw. its too slow a process for editing. any picture I have with a bad color cast, I simply turn it into black and white. under the circumstances of the heavy flourecent lights the pics are aok and quite editable. I can simple color correct it but the screen shows it in horrible green color cast while the D3 doesnt. Firmware says C 1.01 L 1.009 Scott, can you tell me what you think between the D600 and D800. ergonomics, AF speed. likes and dislkes about both? IQ/resolving power is more than enough on both so its not the problem. What im not liking with the D3 is it seems to underexpose and at times in the wedding have had to bump up the EC to plus 1 at times. not consistant results compared to the D3. I cant trust this camera. with the D3 I feel it can do it just right. except I do love the detail it shows in the D600. BTW, in my D3 when I press the play/picture preview button the last picture will come up. if I want to see 4 thumbnails I press the middle of the AF area selecter wheel and then I can quickly scroll backwards very quickly to look through them all to find a specific photo if I need. when I press the play/pic preview button, the picture comes up and if I press the OK button in the middle of the AF area selector a retouch menu comes up. any way to change it to show me small thumbnails? thank you.
