It has happened to me as well so I really don’t have a guilty conscience about doing it. You win some, lose some, that is the nature of the game. If I lose I just take it as something that was just not to be and I will find an even better deal than that one. So if I lose I get excited! Now I have to go find a Nikon HS-8 hood in equally good condition! It has a retractable hood but I prefer to use the snap on ones because they do a better job. This lens is purported to have extremely low flare levels so the retractable one may be all I need. </span></span></span></p><p></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Calibri'"><span style="font-size: 12px"><span style="color: #000000">I do have to admit that digital really IS the best thing to happen to photography in the last 20+ years but for me it is for an entirely different reason. Since everyone is looking for autofocus zooms, terrific little gems like this are dirt cheap. I could never have afforded all of the superlative Hasselblad gear I have were it not for digital!</span></span></span> Long live digital!!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
