I got a Yongnuo 560II for Christmas - now what?

I got this external flash for Christmas and also got the wireless cowboy attachment. I only got one flash. I have a Nikon d7000 with a nikon sb400 flash.

Really not sure where to go to learn how to use this flash, and what instances I would want to use it for. I take a lot of pictures of my little girl, about to turn 1 so thought it might help with that.

Any suggestions on where to look for info on setups, etc? Should I get another one to be able to do more or will one do for now?

THANKS!

One will be fine for now.
You can use a reflector to fill shadows.
There are plenty of articles on the web. Dealing with manual flash.

I also have the Yongnuo 560II ... very good little flash. You can easily start with one unit and lots to learn :)

Suggestions:
same as John... search internet (youtube for flash, manual flash, portraits etc..)

Start with playing with it on the camera...
then advance to Bounce flash (and watch your pictures improve)
then move to off camera with your triggers..

There is a lot you can do with one flash. I am going to be doing some studies and practice myself in that area as I have been away from it for awhile.

Good luck, enjoy... and as you study and practice, bring your questions...
