FedEX is my least favorite shipper between UPS, USPS, and Amazon. Around here FedEX routes are privatized so they aren't company owned. Last year many people in my neighborhood watch group had issues with FedEX leaving their packages at wrong addresses. When it happened to me more than once, I called and spoke with a FedEX rep. WHILE on the phone with the rep, I received a delivery notification. So I went to the door while on the phone only to see no package. So the rep immediately contacted someone on his end, had the driver go back and retrieve the package and deliver it to me. They also followed up and filed a complaint against the driver (who supposedly was one of their best despite the numerous problems in my neighborhood). After going through all of that, the neighborhood complaints about FedEX delivers have stopped. Another time I had a Target shipment sit undisclosed for one month. When the box finally arrived, it had a gaping hole in the top. FedEX attempted to retape it despite being delivered with a 6" opening. Products that were factory sealed had been opened and other items damaged. Or the time I sent for an Avenger C Stand. The box arrived wet with the top flap completely opened. The stand must have fallen out of the box and was damaged. *I* had to drive that box back to FedEX and take it inside to return it myself - keep in mind the shipping box was at least 5' tall and weighed over 15 pounds. That really ticked me off. Not sure why B&H couldn't issue a pickup for it.
