Message: <blockquote data-quote="AC016" data-source="post: 175222" data-attributes="member: 9619"><p>As I am sure you know, both cameras a very different.  D80 has a CCD sensor and the D7100 has a CMOS.  The processors are also very different and the ISO range and dynamic range will be different.  In other words, they are different.  You will get different results, even if you have both cameras set up the same.  Further, your favourite lens will perform slightly differently on each body.  Trust me, there is nothing wrong with your camera.  I suggest you take a deep dive into the settings, especially the picture control.  Good luck</p></blockquote><p></p>
