The nearest lens to my 18-200dx lens that I can find appears to be AF-S 28-300 f3.5-5.6 ED VR  £660/$1050. Is 28mm on a FX lens comparable to 18mm on a DX. I realise the the image will be equivalent to the old 35m size but I don't want to rush out and buy what is a quite expensive lens to find it not suitable. I just want a lens to cover most eventualities so I don't have to carry multiple lenses and have to change them in the field. Is this the default lens can anyone advise please?</p></blockquote><p></p>
