Hi there, it's nice to meet you all. I'm a former film hobbyist who just recently got into the DSLR game because his wife needed macro shots of her small business's products for inclusion in catalogs and magazines. My god, what a different world photography has become since I left it! I'm slowly getting to grips with all the additional digital features that were never part of my film experience, but one area where I'm absolutely being stymied is post-processing. I'm not at all computer savvy - I have a 10+ year old PC (no phone even) that I just use to browse forums, play solitaire, and watch Band-Maid videos. Anything more complicated than that and I feel like I'm trying to decipher Linear-A. So you can imagine how lost I am looking at all the hieroglyphics that Capture NX-D is throwing at me. Which means it's all JPEG and straight out of the camera for now, until I can either find a very patient tutor or have some donor brain cells injected into me. I'm hoping for the latter. Anyway, again, it's nice to meet you all. I'm really looking forward to contributing occasionally, and learning frequently. Thanks!
