If the computer has already been manually reformatted, I don't think it will work. I don't even think you start in safe mode. When I did it, I think there was a button that had to be held down when booting the computer, but like I said, if the hard drive was already reformatted, most likely it would have wiped that feature.</p></blockquote><p></p>
