How to upload SLR photos from MAC into Instagram ?

Hello,

I am just wondering if there is a way to upload you SLR photos from your MAC into Instagram ?

Thats correct, mobile devices. I looked in the app store and everything has to be purchased so I didnt explore any upload packages. I doubt there is a way because it was solely designed for mobile/tablet pictures and not the DSLR photos that you may see on there. I know some will upload those and I do it too, but thats not what it was designed for.

Right. Example, I put them on my cloud, save to my iPhone and then upload to Instagram. But haven't figure out a way to do that from the computer.

I download to desktop, attach and email to myself and save to iPhone.

I crop and edit additionally as needed for IG in either Procamera 7 or Snapseed on my iPhone5 can post directly to IG from both programs. My IG feed is mostly Nikon Dslr pics.

many methods;

1. If you upload images to a site like flickr, smugmug, zenfloio, etc - download a copy to your device and post to Instagram.
2. While in Lightroom, I export a version for instagram. I cut the pxl quality and crop 1:1 and export it to dropbox. From my mobile device I upload to Instagram.
3. Export a version from LR or another editing program and email it to yourself.
4. etc, etc.
