Re: How To Bring The "Constructive" Back To "Constructive Criticism" Can I get an "Amen"? I hope to be a student of all things until I finally reach the grave. I like constructive criticism, and I receive it well. It is how I learn from others and I grow. It doesn't take a thick skin to receive constructive criticism, but it can sometimes help. (I used to work in the psych ward of a maximum security prison, so I have been subjected to some the most profane, vulgar, and creative verbal abuse that I could have even imagined). I did make the mistake of telling someone once "Don't fan my ass and tell me something that I do is great if it isn't. Give it to me straight so I can improve." The response was "Okay. Your works sucks, you stink, and you've got no friends." I knew right then that I had to marry her. (17 years this coming Sunday).
