BEFORE YOU SCROLL DOWN, JUST LOOK AT THE IMAGE BELOW AND SEE IF YOU SPOT WHAT I AM GOING TO ZOOM IN ON. I was at the Scarborough Bluffs today with friends and family. Great outing, got some amazing images. Every once in a while I see someone who does something completely stupid. Buy chance, I saw that today, photographed it and... thought it would work nicely in here while I was editing my images. Enjoy: The image below is of the Scarborough Bluffs. Breathtaking to see.... before you scroll down, take a good look first. See if you spot the nut. This image above is full frame, cropped 8%. In other words, this is what I saw in my viewfinder, there is NO CROPPING when I framed it to be posted above. I took this with my Nikon D800 Nikon 50mm f1.4 G lens Hand Held We were admiring the shear magnitude and size of the bluffs and just chatting when we noticed something moving at the top. Because of the colour, we though it was a warning flag or something to that effect. The more we stared, the more we realized it wasn't a flag, but a person!!! So, an excellent opportunity to see how sharp the D800 really is. See for yourself below. Yea, may be a bit to small to see. But guess what, a 50mm lens is about what your eye sees. We just caught a glimpse. Check this image out at 100%!! What a MORON! One slip and it is all over from this vantage point!
