I looked at all these myself a few weeks ago when I first started looking at whether to buy a 70-300 or 70-200 zoom, etc. Check out Ken Rockwell (again) for info on this: <a href="http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/nikkor.htm#axs" target="_blank">Nikon Nikkor Lenses</a>I don't think you will find any Nikon TCs that will work with the 70-300, nor any of the DX lenses...
