How bad is your NAS Addiction?

How bad is your NAS addiction? What did you give up to satisfy your NAS? If you just spent spending money not needed for something else your NAS is mild to medium, but if you gave up something it's strong to extreme depending on what you gave up! If you gave up something, what was it?
So how bad is your NAS addiction? Lol :D

I sold a couple guitars that were sitting around unused to purchase a D800 and a couple lenses. Can't say that I've ever diverted necessary funds to pay for camera gear. It's all just rotating various inventories.

Sounds like a good trade off! So I'd say mild. Medium if you still played or loved them but wanted the Nikon more! :)

I'll let someone else say what my level is. I used my inhaler money for the month to buy the AF Nikkor 28mm lens, and my muscle relaxer money for the month towards the Nikon 1 V1 with 10-30mm lens and grip. I put my favorite guitar a $1000.00 Gibson SG in pawn to help cover my Nikkor AF-D 105mm micro lens and I still haven't got it out yet.

Youre definitely on the extreme end.

only 3 lenses I want to get is,
1-upgrade my 50 1.8d to the g
2-upgrade to the 15mm sigma fishey from my rokinon 8mm
3-possibly get a new WA, although im not locked into anything as of yet. no logical option for me as of now.

but I am keeping my eye out for the sigma 24-70 f/2 OS/ 135mm/ 85mm 1.4

I'm probably among the worst - yesterday I purchased a AF 35-80mm f/4-5.6D Nikon 35-80mm f/4-5.6D (3/3) - YouTube , a lens ABSOLUTELY not needed (logically, that is - I already own a 28-100mm G and a 35-70mm D, Nikon's cheapest kit lenses ever) but I just could not resist the temptation (or: indecent proposal/offer=40$)...

I'm going to have to say I'm good at the moment... The idea of upgrading to FX pops up and floats around in my consciousness from time to time but really, at the moment, I'm infinitely more focused (ha!) on learning to improve my technique.

I have been completely obsessed by this photography hobby.
So, I decided to get a D4 for my wife.

I'm gonna miss her.............

The problem I have is I have NAS but I don't have the funds to pay for it. The want list is crazy though. 12-24 24-70 70-200 80-400. D800e. Rumored d9300 replacement for a d300. D3300 for light carry. 105 macro. D7100 to go along with my d610 2 800 speed lights and a DJI phantom drone with motorized gimbal remote for aerial shots mounted with a go pro 3

Depends on who you ask. My wife would rate it as extreme but I consider it to be mild. I mean, heck, I haven't sold a kidney yet. :)

Low to Medium? 85% satisfied with what I have, and did pay for about 40% of the D7100 on credit (no interest for 18 months, so not a killer), but I don't divert funds from other areas for NAS... EVER. I do shoot a little on the side to earn money for the NAS fund, but NEEDS before WANTS every single time. Period.

I'm not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination, but I am *RICH* in the sense that my budget is under control... ;) Plus, it allows me to do special things for my family from time to time to, like a night out on the town, a bit of vacation here and there, or help refurnish the living room. If the WIFE stays happy, *I* stay happy, and I have more than enough to keep me going in this wonderful art for quite some time, even if I never purchase anything else.

.
.

Now, having said that... I really want a good Macro lens, and that "so sharp it will cut you" 85mm prime, and...

I'd better stop there.

Well, I've actually had it under control until the last few minutes. Now I'm looking around to see what I don't really need; miscellaneous stuff really; wife; kidney; etc.
