I watched the male (right) dance around and sing his heart out to the female. The poor little guy was rebuffed, however.

Boy: Oh, baby won't you let me be your man?
Girl: No.

Boy: Oh come on, honey!

Girl: I SAID NO!

Boy: You're breaking' my heart!
Girl: I'm turning my back on you.

Saw something similar with laughing gulls. Not sure if an impressive comedy routine was part of the ritual.
