Message: <blockquote data-quote="yauman" data-source="post: 260462" data-attributes="member: 15418"><p>Oh, just thought of this analogy - think of the U1 and U2 settings as you would the "Scene Mode" that is available in your D7100.  You can select in the "Scene Mode" for Portrait, Landscape, Night Landscape, Snow/Beach, etc etc.  Every time you select one of those modes, you are telling the camera to preset a whole bunch of stuff, relevant to making the best picture out of that scenery.  Think of the U1 and U2 as just another couple more Scene Modes that you can customize yourself.  So in my case, I save to U2 all the camera setting I would use when I am shooting a model in a studio - that would be my "Studio" mode.</p></blockquote><p></p>
