Here's how you do that: Set your Mode dial to U1. Go into your Shooting menu (Camera Icon). Set Role played by card in slot 2 to the RAW slot 1 - JPG slot 2 option. Press OK. Set Image Quality to the RAW + Fine option (or whatever resolution JPG you want). Press OK. Go into the Setup menu (Wrench icon). Go into Save user settings and click left one time. Click on Save to U1. Click left one more time. On Save settings click OK. Exit your menus. Now repeat the above steps but for Mode dial U2. To do this go back to the Image Quality menu and select JPG and set slot two's role as "Backup". Be sure you do all the "Save" steps and press OK and so forth, just like you did when setting up U2. When you're all done, putting your Mode dial on U1 will have you shooing RAW + JPG. The RAW files will go to the card in slot one and JPG copies will go to the card in slot two. Switching to Mode U2 will have you shooing JPG photos only, with the card in slot two making backup copies of shots on card in slot one. .....
