Message: <blockquote data-quote="simonhodge" data-source="post: 36645" data-attributes="member: 8134">Thanks Robin.  I am wanting to try and start earning from photography and need better kit.  The options with Sony would be the new A65/A77 but i'm not too sure about the electronic view finder.  The other reason is that i am looking at getting a 17-50mm F2.8 or similar range.  To go Sony or Nikon is expensive but i can afford Sigma or Tamron.  From what i can find the Sigma is a good bit better than the Tamron but Sony are famous for stripping gears on Sigma lenses so i dont want to go there.  I know that to change is not always the best move financially but the gear i currently have for the Sony is not really up to standard for what i want to do so i would have to change it all anyway.  I hope i havent put you to sleep!</blockquote>
