Hey guys glad I found this site....I come from old school Canon EOS 650....Yes film....:( But now need to move on haven't been doing any photographing for a couple of years now...
and would like to get back at it....I will be asking lots of questions about some bodies haven't decided yet on any...The D800 is what the hype is about now but what coming next.....:)

Welcome aboard John,

Before you start shopping around, you'll have to know that most bodies out there can produce amazing images. You only know what your priorities are: Resolution, size, frame per seconds, cost? All these factors should be considered + the lenses that you will want to go with it. As I was told by a Nikon rep, bodies come and go, but lenses stay.

I'm not too far from you in Sherbrooke, so welcome and feel free to participate.
