Message: <blockquote data-quote="zain" data-source="post: 218477" data-attributes="member: 17832"><p>Malaysia as you might be aware is one of the commonwealth countries which means the country that once was colonised by Britain, just like India, Singapore, Australia, Canada a many more.  As a result we inherit lots of things from Britain, among others are buildings with beautiful architecture (despite many disadvantages of being colonised which I need not elaborate here <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" />)The British government left behind many classic and beautiful buildings whose architecture depends on the era it was constructed.  For a start let me introduce you to this handsome building which used to house the administration office of the whole then Malaya (now Malaysia). Its architecture was inspired by Mughal Architecture of India (just like Taj Mahal) because the main overseas office of the British colonial government was in India so many of its staff who came to work in Malaysia were earler based in India.  This building was designed by 2 British architects named A.C. Norman and R.A.J. Bidwell.  It was built between 1894 and 1897.
