Well I thought I better post this in the 'Off Topic' section seeing as I didn't use a Nikon and used my friends Canon as she was struggling getting some good shots.

Here are some photos from a recent baby shoot, this is my first ever baby shoot so be kind to me. Any C&C is welcome. For some reason she only gave me the Jpegs so editing was limited.

So, these are those "famous" Canon colors. ;)

Most of these look over exposed to me. The one with the Mom and dad giving baby a bath looks to be the best one as far as I can tell.
Also I think you nailed the shot in the first set with the baby toes and the ring.

Yeah I purposefully added extra highlights and exposure to make them more high key, maybe I went overboard... But I did a quick print on my works laser printer and they look pretty good.

Also it may look different on your monitor. Every monitor I have in my house, the pics I take look all different. My desktop, my Nexus Tablet, my wife's iPad and so on, the colors all look different.

One more thing Scott. out of the 2 baby toes with the ring pics, I prefer the one with the portrait mode over the landscape mode.

Cheers mate, I took different ones so that they can be used differently if needed, well my friend handed the photos over to the parents and they love them :)
