The setting "role played by cards" is very different from the "Quality" setting. It's with the "Quality" button (push button while you turn the  wheel) that you will let the camera know which quality mode you want files saved as.Sorry for such a long sentence... I'm out of breath myself.The settings appear in the top lcd display, or, if you previously pressed the info button, you will see your settings when you press the "quality" button. Bottom left in the back of the D7100 (could be the one above).Let us know if it worked.</blockquote>
