To prevent that (or: to decrease the risk of losing the photos), the D7000 can simultaneously employ TWO cards instead of one, and make a "backup copy" of each shot you take (each shot gets automatically copied to the "secondary" card). The two cards can be used in other ways, too...</p></blockquote><p></p>
