Hi everyone, I'm a new Nikon camera owner (D5600) and getting back into photography after a 30 year hiatus. I used to shoot 35mm with a Minolta, which I still have, and looking forward to learning as much as I can about the D5600 and digital photography. I purchased several lenses with the camera and lookin forward to learning which lens is best for certain types of pictures. I especially like street photography and time exposures. I hope to learn and be helpful to others in time.

Welcome. I too started with film and took a decades long break from photography, only to get interested again when my daughter got the bug. I'm not much for street photography, but recently got interested in long exposures. I mostly do that for moving water, but have experimented with a few other genres in long exposure.

This is a great place to discuss equipment and techniques and show off, I mean share your images. There is a lot of knowledge and experience here, and folks are willing to share it.

Welcome Maximus, I did catch your photos in the other post. (y)

I still do have my 1970's Minolta XD-11 kit I purchased from a sheriff's auction about 28 years ago. Have 2 very old rolls of Kodak B/W film waiting to be run through that camera.
