I'm a 78 year old Filmmaker, Photographer and Historian looking forward to seeking help and giving help whenever possible. I've been a Nikon Lover since my teenage years. Welcome. We look forward to seeing some of your work. I have found this to be a very helpful forum over the last few years. Lots of knowledgeable folks willing to share. We run the gamut from newbies to very experienced and talented folk. I too, started off with film more years ago than I care to admit. I do think having a background of using very basic cameras is helpful in this age of cameras that have so many autonomous features. Fstops, shutter speeds and ASAs are old friends. Don't get me wrong, I love many of the new features, but it can make it easy to be lazy. I try and use the features, and not let them choose for me.

I as well started several decades ago with film, including processing it myself. Still have all my Jobo equipment in working order. Welcome.
