[QUOTE="Raceylacy, post: 8053, member: 2846"] Hi Ian Yes, I agree, it's great to find such an informative forum and better still to find it so friendly. Thank you re: the dog shots (I have many, and I mean, many ha!) Yes Tenby is in Pembrokeshire. We had a fabulous holiday with our dogs in your area a few years ago. We stayed in Bellmullet, Co Mayo. The countryside I found is different to Wales but equally as stunning. I couldn't get over the deserted beaches and sparkly sand!!! The furthest north we drove was to Sligo. I remember we stopped at this beach that had lots of surfers but it was quite small and we also met a lady with a troop of 3 legged collies who was from Yorkshire, but living in that area of Sligo and was involved with the Irish equivalent of the RSPCA. We also travelled south as far as Galway, which reminded me of Aberystwyth, probably because of it being a university town. Ha, I also remember the bumpy roads!!! I believe that they have improved. Of course from here we can easily get to Dublin or Rosslare on the ferry from Fishguard or Pembroke and we keep saying we will pop across the water and stay maybe in Kerry but you know, never seem to get round to it.
