Hey everyone!

I am a proud owner of a D3100. I got it in 2012 and been shooting ever since. I like to travel a lot, and it has been a very faithful and essential travel companion :). I'm still learning, and only really have the time to take pictures occasionally but I am keen to get better. I love landscapes, cars and night photography, but I have been trying to get into portraits (to my gf's horror).

I try to photograph my kids, never see 'em run off as fast. Teenagers eh!? And if i try to photograph the other half, she just gives me 'the bird'. Ah well, welcome along..

haha jaydean, all I hear is: 'have you taken the picture yet?!'. It's not my fault that all the settings need to be perfect..

Howdy and welcome to Nikonites!

Photographing people...especially significant others, is truly a test of patience. :D

So far she's been a test subject while learning the 35mm f1/8.. as you can imagine with so many available apertures one take is never quite enough :p She usually loses patience at the 'hmm no.. let me get my tripod!'
