Thank you for the warm welcome, Joseph, Eduard and Helene. And thanks for the kind words about my images. Eduard, I'm still not quite sure about the Sigma 150-500. I got it because of the value (500mm for less than 1K? Add to Cart!). I then proceeded to use it exclusively at 500mm, but I was quite disappointed. I have since learned that the usable limit is 400, so I will try and explore that further. It might take some doing, though, since I also now have the 70-200 and the TC20iii, so I've already got 400 covered. I am quite happy with the performance, portability and range of that combo, and I retain AF to boot! I have a newbie type question about uploading images to the gallery. What are your recommendations about file size - do you keep it down so that others with not so large monitors can view it better or do you go full size, as I have done in my initial uploads? I prefer to stick to full size, since my love affair with the D3x involves the level of detail that it delivers, but that might also work against me. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. I have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised that this forum is actually encouraging larger file sizes and resolution (Wow! up to 1200x1200). I'm not so worried about theft, yet. I might even be flattered if someone actually wanted to steal any of my images. :D Cheers, Gene
