I wouldn't worry about FX right now when you are ready it is no trouble to flip an entire DX kit on craigslist and start over. The real nice feature of the D7100 is it will allow you to explore full frame Nikkor AF D glass which often offers amazing performance for very little money.....a real hidden fabulous feature of the Nikon F mount.</p><p></p><p>Have fun and surf's up!</p></blockquote><p></p>
