I am new to the board also and love these people to pieces, it is like family here do not be afraid to post your work and tell us a little more about your equipment. I shoot with a coolpix S6000 but in another week I will have the D3000 which my lovely husband too is upgrading to a new camera but that is a secret. I was not into photography that much, I love my coolpix but I bought it to take shots of the family and events. Now that I am getting a new camera I hope to be more creative.
