I've been a Nikon dslr owner since 2006 (D50 with kit lens 18-55). It's been a great camera. I also purchased AF 50 mm nikkor lens for it a year and half ago. Recently upgraded to a D5100 with 18-105 lens and a 35 mm. Speed flash sb-700. The D50 was a great camera nearly 20,000 shutter count but it was time to upgrade. I was torn between the 7000 and the 5100 but after reading many reviews and watching just as many I chose the 5100 and bought some extras with the money saved.   I have access to a 7000 if I really wanted to use that body. Looking forward to shooting more landscapes and street shots. Also looking forward to reading and learning more about photography here.</p></blockquote><p></p>
