Joined up today to get and share experiences. Am newly back to photography with a new (to me) D90, after shelving my old Nikon film collection years ago (still have the F3 FM2 and some old but beautiful lenses.) I shoot auto with an 18 - 55 mm lens I purchased with the body, but still shoot a lot on manual with my old lenses. I do wildlife education and rescue and drag the camera along, which is how I came to get this Harbor Seal and her pup, shot on manual with my old Nikkor 80-200mm zoom. As you can see, if I'd been able to expose it to get the pup's face, it would have been a neat shot! Look forward to tips on how to do that!
