Thanks for the welcomes. It will be good to get back into taking pictures. Will get my mind active again and maybe moving more which can only be a good thing. Last worked in the real world 9 years ago and waiting for the system to work in the work comp world. Took 10 years to settle and sadly still have to deal with it because they cover my medical for the rest of my life. Shooting this wedding is not going to be easy on me and I will not be able to do everything I would normally do but he will get some great pictures. Hoping maybe getting back into the hobby will help me get out and do more which will help in the long run. Could increase my pain and slow me down more if I don't watch what I do. This is going to be a small wedding in a nice little church so that will help. Need to keep the gear lite. I've been doing some surfing at new gear and remember how much money I don't have to get the things I'd like to have. But also nice to see how far things have come over the years. I've gone from loading my own film from bulk rolls to now you load in a small card that will hold more pictures then I once could ever imagine being able to take. When I got my D1x and 1g hard drive in a compact flash cost me over $300 and now a 2g compact flash runs under $20. Would love to get back into doing some darkroom work but with computers it just doesn't make since anymore. We can go from taking a picture to having it printed in less time then it took to develop a roll of film, and that doesn't include drying it. Digital has taken some of the fun out of taking pictures but has also opened up a whole new world. Young people today I think would have fun going and shooting a roll of film and take it from there to the darkroom and printing their pictures out.
