Hi all. Just joined this group and looking forward to being a member. Have been into serious amateur photography for quite a few years. Started as serious hobby, then grew into somewhat of a business, but mostly to help folks who wanted photos, but couldn't really afford them. My wife and I had my brother in law take slides of our wedding, then many years later had prints made. Mostly family and very close friends. Also did proms, ball teams and pre-k church school. Gave it up a few years ago, but am now getting back into serious hobby mode. Have D7100 on pre-order and just received 18-300mm lens. Have D70s, was great until started having the problem with memory cards and the infamous "char" issue.

Welcome! I've been to New Orleans a couple of times and the food there (both cajun and creole) is the BEST anywhere! Where else can you have turtle soup, fried gator, and frog legs all in one plate? Yum! :D
