Sometimes you hit a spot where no matter what, the lighting will never be good. At that point I bracket 3 just in case. This gorge (Watkins Glen in NY), is never adequately lit. I hit it at the best time, but still most of the gorge walls were in shadows. I shot my standard bracket with a D6100; one image just didn't bring out great shadow detail, so it is a 3 shot HDR.
