I am new here, and new to digital photography, so I probably have a different perspective from those of you that have been around here for a few years or more. I wanted to see what you guys were talking about, so I chose "Education" at random to see an example of these attributes. I clicked on the "Thanks/Like" link, and selected the thread with the most (122). It turned out to be a dusty thread from 2014 about photographers legal rights via a confrontational video made by a photographer in Texas. Fascinating viewing/reading, and it probably would have been a long time before I had stumbled across it, otherwise. I also learned the definition of a "Browncoat"! I was worried it had something to do with team sports (ugh!), until I Googled it, and learned it has to do with Victorian-era media. (I enjoyed Firefly/Serenity, and Murdoch Mysteries, as well!) I guess the term was used in the series, but I didn't really pick up on it. Guess I am not in "fan" status... ;)
