I think Number Two has better compositional balance with the lightness of the sky counterbalancing the darker, heavier foliage below. The "V" shape of the foliage also works well with that strong leading line created by the fence, canal and path. That particular line is present, but far weaker, in Number One. Number Two also has those dramatic clouds happening. Number One is a really nice shot, but Number 2 is far better, IMO......</blockquote>
