Extraordinary find today at Gulf Island National Seashore Park in Ocean Springs, Ms. A lot of you know that I almost daily visit the park to photograph Egrets, Pelicans, Turtles, Snakes and yes Alligators. No gators today but in my quest for trying to find something a little different I spotted something truly rare and I believe that out of over 7,000 members I am the only one that has managed to capture not only one, but two rare white crocks on the bank of Davis Bayou. While maintaining a safe distance and using a long lens I managed to capture the image below. I feel like this has really elevated my long quest to get something unusual and unique. LOL The reason for this post is to get everyone to start using their imagination more and try something different. I myself will try and and be a little more imaginative in weeks to come. Marilynne, I think I finally found something that you haven't photographed! LOL
