My wife and I have been over to the M.D,Anderson Cancer hospital for the last several days so I could get scanned, poked, drilled into my bones and several other exciting things. M.D.Anderson is rated as the number one cancer center in the United States. The doctor I am seeing is in charge of the T Cell Lymphoma section so I think I have the best combination I can get for care. The T Cell cancer is very rare and is also very aggressive. I will need to be making a trip over to Houston about every three weeks and stay for four or five days of treatment. My doctor suggested coming to them for treatment because a lot of cancer doctors have never had a patient with this type of cancer or if they have it has been one in the last several years. My doctor deals with this every day with patients from all over the U.S. coming to this hospital. On a brighter note, my wife and I went to the Houston Zoo for a few hours until we both about had heat strokes and they had to bring in ice packs and water and give us a ride to the front gate. I didn't get many pictures will post a few as the days go by.
